- Diamond Seas and Lands of Smoke – Summery/Quote: There must be a scale of worth; Angelus may have cut a swath through the European population, but I’ve doomed civilizations. Should have figured redemption wouldn’t be easy, but isn’t this just a bit out of hand?
Notes: Alternate Reality starting at BtVS’s season finale 2.22 “Becoming” and carrying on through until 7.22 “Chosen”. Will then jump somewhere to Stargate: SG-1 during its seventh season. This story will probably end up mostly as NaNo fodder, on account of the extreme AUing currently drafted from Whedon’s world. I have a feeling it will have about a 50K dedication concerned less with intergalactic travel than how she came to be stranded on a planet in enemy hands. Expect bad-assery. This Willow’s a witch who hung out with Faith and an Angel/Angelus combo. Most of the story taking place on Earth will be when she’s atop the Hellmouth, the second half will be on a ‘Gate-planet, abord a ship, or on the lam with a Tok’ra spy.
Important Hellmouth Characters: Willow, Angel, Giles, Whistler and Faith
+(with a side of William the Bloody and Drucila the Seer)
Important Stargate Characters: Malek/?, Selmak/Jacob Carter, Anubis, and Ascended!Daniel
+(with a side of Jack O'Niell and Samanthia Carter)
Probable Parings: Willow/Angel(us); Willow/Malek/? Ha- Buffy has nothing on Red’s doomed relationship-woes!
+(with a side of Cordelia/Xander, Willow/Oz, and Willow/Tara)
Drafting Board and Post-it Notes:
– When Dust Begins to Fall – Summery/Quote: The apocalypse comes not from below, but from above.
Note: Even less is known about this one, though it will (as the summery suggests) take place on Earth during an alien invasion. However, no decisions have been made about the nature of the enemy and as such could be Goa’uld, Wraith, Replicator, or Ori. Might connect with 'Diamond Seas and Lands of Smoke'.
Probable Parings: Willow/Tok'ra or Willow/Sam.
– Something in the Mist – Summery/Quote: They were brainwashed by the durability of written proof. XYZ. An equation that should be followed to an end. No short cuts, no experimentation. That would go against The Word. Hallowed are the Ori. Might connect with 'When Dust Begins to Fall'.
Note: Will revolve around the Ori arc and the search for Merlin.
Probable Parings: TBA (might involve Teal'c)
– Upon the Water’s Edge – Summery/Quote: It was a wish granted by one she knew, but that didn’t mean it came without a price.
Note: Not much is written in this story-plot yet, though I do know it will see Willow dumped on a planet in the Pegasus Galaxy as she fights against psychic-vampires (Wraith) and eventually joins the Atlantis expedition.
Probable Parings: Willow/Teyla or Willow/Ronon; maybe even a Willow-Teyla-Ronon tro.
Geek/Writer Note:
I have the offical Stargate SG-1 role-playing game book, yes that's right a d20 D&D rule book for the 'Gate verse... and I'm not afraid to use it! OC/world creation will follow the templates. Wikipedia will be used for most of the general knowledge of the two series. I own nothing but the legally bought DVD's of the first two seasons for SG-1; no infringement implied, no monies will be collected, and this is all in good fun.

BBC apparently believes that the average will hold that most people will have read only 6 of the following 100 books.
Instructions:
1) Look at the list and put in bold the ones you've read.
2) Go ahead and make it italic if it's one you LOVE.
3) Tally your total at the bottom.
*4) Books in my To-Read pile
*5) Books started but never finished
6*) Books I've started and plan to finish

Not the best, but better than it could have been- I guess. Some of these I've yet to run across long enough to just read the dust jacket (or back cover) let alone put them on my To-Read pile. So now it's your turn, bibliophiles unite!

Summary: Five times Willow Rosenberg had a Life After Death
Author's Note: Upon request I will expand one of the five and lead Willow to a new 'way of life' (that could possibly enlude cross-overs, should you wish) Warning: this fic is un-beta'd for viewing confusion. ~500words.
Disclaimer: I have no legal rights to 'The Vampire Slayer' series, as it is the recognizable brain-childe of Joss Whedon.
The first time was pretty obvious. Premature, underweight, and born with a cord around her neck. The doctor’s hailed it a miracle, but those are truly far and few between on the Hellmouth.
The second time, like the first, took place inside a Hellmouth’d hospital. It was supposed to be simple, a spell to save a friend and a desperate stopgap measure to advert a new era of darkness. Like miracles, ‘simple’ hardly ever fit her life. When the Old One took possession of her body, it took her life as well. Angel didn’t have only his soul now.
Then came the walking vision of what her life could have been, should the Slayer never win against the Master. A mirror image brought though the gateway between dimensions with an ornate choker and a dangling bobble dripping down pail flesh. Willow now carries her own mark, claimed as a childe’s childe and an awkward recipient of master’s blood forever burning her veins. When her skin remained warm, and her heart insistently beat once more, shards of a pretty jewel not of her world shattered. It would not be the last time her reflection was dark, but she would never again see her half-sire’s childe.
The fourth time she died saw her clinging to a ceiling. It was her first taste of Evermore. Oh, how wonderful the feeling of earth moving. How it steadily twisted in the black. How warm and strong the connection to every living thing. She didn’t want the pain though, no, can’t have that. Take that back, but give her more. Ecstasy as her senses narrowed and filtered all but one until her brain fried and her body seized. Ether currents kept her body warm, pliable, and when she came back the world was bright (so very bright) and full of color human eyes were never meant to understand. It was wrong though (so very wrong) and she had no control.
Her next death has a dramatic flair, one befitting the warring-White-Hat she now was. The shrapnel that pierced her heart was messy, but the killing blow came from one of several bone blades. Nothing could be done though, and in the chaos, her body was tossed aside. One more casualty in an increasingly grim foreign apocalypse. When the day was won and after the injured were seen to, the dead were taken for last respects. They would have buried her a hero had she not been cruelty spat back into existence. This time the doctors crossed themselves and it was with hushed accusations she walked out into starlight. It made her smile though, a strange sight to be sure in her stolen purple scrubs and bare feet leaving a trail of brown weeds. Yes it made her smile. Cursed. It was, after all, a better fit.

Your result for The Perception Personality Image Test...
NFPS - The Guru
Nature, Foreground, Big Picture, and Shape

You perceive the world with particular attention to nature. You focus on what's in front of you (the foreground) and how that fits into the larger picture. You are also particularly drawn towards the shapes around you. Because of the value you place on nature, you tend to find comfort in more subdued settings and find energy in solitude. You like to deal directly with whatever comes your way without dealing with speculating possibilities or outcomes you can't control. You are in tune with all that is around you and understand your life as part of a larger whole. You prefer a structured environment within which to live and you like things to be predictable.

Your kean eyes are drawn to an oval object larger than your head, it is the color of the sky with glowing swirls of magic rippling about the surface. You take it. There is lone gauntlet, encrusted with jewels and tinged with gold, it appears far to large for your hands. It is what you came for. You take it. There is a rusted dagger, dull engraving on worn blade; hilt made of bone. You take it. There rests a cloth bag, dark green with leather straps and mysterious stains-
-not so mysterious I'd bet.
You take it. Advance back to the inn?
sure; so what'd I get?
You stole a dragon egg and found Sir. Galvin's Right Gauntlet-
-woot, take that Dwarf! She's the man now, Newtclick.-
You found an useless dagger, and an unlucky adventurer's bag with a week's rations, a coil of 24 feet of rope, seven throwing stars, a bedroll, and oddly, a pair of leather shoes that might fit Styx.
well, that's not so bad- wait, did you just say I stole a dragon's egg?
Yep.
...
can she name it?
You want to keep the dragon egg?
wouldn't you? besides, I'll need somone trustworthy to keep my gold safe when I'm out-and-about.

Title: Respite (An Undiscovered Decision)
Fandom: Harry Potter
Summary: Harry stood deep in wild grass watching jeweled insects dance about and felt like he rested there an eternity as gentle breeze brought the fresh scent of spring. Warnings: Mild HHr. Implied child abuse. PreHogwarts.
AN/Prompt: reptilia28’s challenge had (1) Harry die in a battle with Voldemort, (2) Hermione Granger as his soul’s mate, (3) an officer of Death needing anger-management classes, and (4) what appears to be a demonically possessed contract enabling re-life with all past memories intact. Based off of said challenge, I’ve focused more on a death scene at a between stage. Un-bate’d for reading confusion. 1070 words.

I am neither witty or wise, youthfully enthralled with naivety or experienced in years. I am a liar and a cheat, the path cleared is my desire. A companion to the echo of spent dreams bitterly gone. I am nothing, contribute nothing, but I am here. At the end and lost in wooded depths. That path is no more, I am forced to move. To continue. I have missed the lesion on how to cut through brush and left behind by those who have learned it’s usefulness.
There are eyes peering beneath dark leaves and hidden mouths that whisper. An end I do not want. Here is where packed earth marries towering grass sneering at my hesitation, where worn path is taken by sharpened rocks lusting for blood. I must move forward, always, because the nature of the journey would allow nothing else. I have picked the easiest road at every juncture and know not how to proceed.
Sabotage, a lover long in my bed, has encouraged each choice. Selfishly I listened and destroyed my worth in underhanded schemas my conscious mind can yet fully name. There is terror for the ground has quaked and eroded on dirty soles. Subtle. So very subtle. Lured, and happily so, away from friendly forests traveled by many.
Where to I look, how do I start? Instruction please! I’m scared. Help, help. I am alone but for the cruel being of where I happily tread. There is no help. Just the forest and it’s overgrowth of towering grass and sharpened rocks and encroaching dark.
